Situated just off the A2 at Coldred, in Kent (near Dover), the Kent VW Festival has been running since 2012.

Now in its 8th year, the organisers are aiming to make the 2019 event even bigger and better, mixing cars, music, traders and a fun fair all into one.

It’s a family orientated event, where kids under 16 get in for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Over the years the KVWF stage has graced the musical talents of Coco and the Butterfields, Funky and the Two Tone Baby, DJ Slipmatt, Mike Fox, Doozer Mc Dooze, Mordeci, Derencho, The Bram Stokers, Caution Horses, Stox, The Shammed and many more….

This years show is no exception, with “Toploader” and DJ Adamski” headlining as well as over 15 live acts over the weekend ranging from folk to rock, pop to old skool DJ’s.

Not forgetting Saturday night fancy dressed “Skools Out” themed skool disco with DJ Summers.

This year the show is being supported by “Musicians Against Homelessness”, which in turn works with “Crisis”, the homeless charity. This has enabled them to book bigger headliners and the performers have agreed to play at a discounted rate enabling the event to donate as much as possible to the charity.

With a nice mix of classic VW’s on display, fun fair, great traders, reasonably priced 5 star food vendors and top musical acts – both world famous as well as local bands – plus free kids activities, this promises to be quite a weekend for the whole family to enjoy!

So bring on the sunshine, kick off your shoes and chill.
