Heritage Parts Centre: A new era for VW Heritage

From March 2018, VW Heritage will change their name to Heritage Parts Centre, allowing them to supply the very best parts to owners of VW and Porsche vehicles around the world, under a single company name. Whether you drive a classic Beetle, have owned a string of Golfs, or you spend your weekends away in a campervan, the chances are you will be aware of the Sussex based parts specialist, and their work within the VW community.

Founded in 1986, the company was appointed UK Partner for Volkswagen Classic Parts in 2011, giving them direct access to all obsolete VW stock. Located in a modern 45,000 sq.ft warehouse in West Sussex, they employ over 80 members of staff, and last year shipped to 115 different counties. They regularly throw open the doors for their monthly Heretics meets, starting up again on April 19th (and the 3rd Thursday of each month through to September).

M.D Barney Dines sums up this news perfectly. “For me and the team at Heritage it’s all about the cars; we own them, we drive them, we work on them and we love them. As the business has grown we have taken on new staff with interests in other marques and this has shaped the evolution from VW Heritage to Heritage Parts Centre.  We’re excited to see what the future holds, but be assured the level of service, quality of parts and knowledge will remain as strong as ever.” Along with the subtle name change, the logo has also evolved to match. This isn’t the first time the company has had an identity refresh, the logo was previously updated in 2011, and 1996 before that.

You still can find them online using vwheritage.com, alternatively steer yourself to www.heritagepartscentre.com to shop VW and Porsche in the same place. The telephone number remains unchanged +44 01273 444000.
