Building a short wheelbase Buggy typically involves having the chassis shortened (preferably by a professional) and ’pan halves cut down to suit. That just became much easier with these new, pressed, heavy-gauge steel floors from Heritage Parts Centre.

Not only do these result in a stronger chassis, but a cleaner looking one with additional ground clearance as they’re flatter and the battery tray has been removed.

To make mounting easier, the perimeter bolt holes are elongated and there are brake pedal stop plates on both halves to suit left or right-hand drive applications. Supplied in epoxy primer.
