Here’s just a handful of highlights from the NEW May ’21 issue of VolksWorld Magazine,
which is available to order NOW (in shops from April 2nd)
It’s been a while since we ran anything other than a top end glossy show and / or go car on the cover so you’ll already have spotted the patina on The Old Dub Shop motor on this month’s cover. Of course it’s more than just a signwritten daily it’s turbocharged narrowed and on air so there’s plenty going on under the skin. Similarly the aged Samba (p28) is as cool as a cucumber thanks to its period updates of a Porsche 356 motor and brakes. We can only imagine how much fun that must be to drive. We’ve also got a couple of cool slammers in the shape of Jed Allen’s recently overhauled ’63 (p38) and Oli Fulljames’ Antipodean Resto Cal (p54) and a real rarity in the classic Enzmann 506 over on p79.
But that’s not all. Turn to p60 to ogle not one not two but three new Resto Cal cruisers from the Los Angeles chapter of the German Folks Klub. Yep new GFK cars are like Buses. You don’t see one for ages and then three come along at once!
